We hiked to Kolob Arch in Zion National Park on La Verkin Creek Trail. We started at Lee Pass Trailhead and did the 14 mile hike in Kolob Canyons in 1 day.

We visited Chimney Rock National Monument in SW Colorado in the regular season and in the off-season. You can hike to the top of the mesa in the off-season.

We rode ATVs and dirt bikes to the Wheeler Geologic Area near Creede, Colorado. This used to be a National Monument but was downgraded because it is so remote.

Crosby Canyon provides an OHV road to access the shore of Lake Powell. See gorgeous sandstone cliffs in this remote area. Dispersed camping is allowed.

We visited the Grand Teton National Park for five days. We went hiking, rafted down the Snake River, and other fun outdoor activities. It is a stunning park to visit.

Arches National Park is one of the most photographed national parks. Timed entries are required. One campgrounds is available. Reservations are accepted.

We drove the Shafer Trail Moab road in Canyonlands National Park. The scenery from the top of the mesa to the canyon floor is amazing!

Visit the Navajo Bridge north of the Grand Canyon and near the Glen Canyon Recreation Area. It is a blend of engineering mastery and cultural heritage.

The Lonely Dell Ranch is on the Colorado River in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Take a short hike to the historic ranch and pick fruit from its orchard.

To be able to see the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park, you must get tickets for a tour. Tickets go on sale two weeks in advance and sell out quickly!
