We hiked to Kolob Arch in Zion National Park on La Verkin Creek Trail. We started at Lee Pass Trailhead and did the 14 mile hike in Kolob Canyons in 1 day.

We hiked the Weminuche Trail from the Poison Park trailhead in Colorado. We went through a beautiful valley full of purple Rocky Mountain irises.

Bluejohn Canyon, Utah, gained fame after Aron Ralston amputated his arm there. We hiked to the slot canyon where he was trapped for 180 hours.

We got caught in a flash flood in a slot canyon in the Little Wild Horse Canyon in Utah. It was sunny outside and no rain was forecast. We had to climb out the canyon walls.

We hiked the trail to Opal Lake near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The trail is 2.3 miles round trip and goes through the South San Juan Wilderness area.
